Tips For Your Underwater Session

The day of your session come prepared for a unique fun filled experience. Take a deep breath and be surprised how easy underwater modeling can be! Chances are your session will take place in the shallow end of the pool and while everyone else is sweating you will be emerged in relaxing H2o!

Photographing underwater creates a beautiful environment. Be creative with your wardrobe and keep in mind the flow{ie} effects the water. Bring several outfits that you think might work well for your shoot.

Props are good to bring to your session. Let your imagination run wild! Some ideas: umbrella, jewelry, veils, flowers, 

A colorful veil looks great in the water

We would be happy to recommend a makeup artist for your shoot otherwise you will be responsible for applying your own makeup. 

Wear waterproof mascara
If you wear contact lens, remember to take them off before the session

Apply a lip stain to your lips to keep from washing off
Bring your lipstick and or lip stain to the shoot with you to reapply as needed

Long hair looks best loose or with an interesting clip or hair accessory.

Follow the recommended cleaning instructions for the clothes you will wear in the pool. At the very least it is recommended to soak them in fresh water to take out any excess chlorine.
